Literally every military since WW2 has offered amphetamines to soldiers expecting prolonged engagements. All nations in the coalition against Iraq in 1991 for example used US manufactured pills to allow them to fight continuously over the course of 48 hour+ engagements without rest.
The practice started with the Germans in WW2, but as opposed to Germany's extreme overuse of combat drugs, modern militaries are extremely conservstive with their use and great care is taken to avoid soldiers suffering from addiction.

Nope, until the war in Afghanistan, the US military used Amphetamines as well as other drugs to help soldiers stay alert on long missions. Many militaties still use them but keep what they use under wraps.
The US just a few years ago introduced a replacement that is not an amphetamine.
Syrian civil war combatants are currently using Fenethylline (a substance I have written a paper about) as a stand in for more targeted drugs currently.
Germany did however pioneer the use of drugs as combat stimulants, which the US also used in the war, but to a lesser extent.

Not a nurse, a doctor, I still have a while until I take my medical exams though, as I am coming into my junior year. It probably wont work because it would prevent me from having kids for a long time.

The issue is people in their minds think the American military should be a bastion reserved for warriors and that trannies are not warriors, and that their presence brings shame and awkwardness to the platoon/brigade/whatever. But this modern military industry is just like any other industry, it is not a bunch of noble knights or samurais or assassins or whatever form of 'warrior' we are accustomed to, which would rightfully have no place for transgender...but this is not the case for the USA.

So either come up with a warrior ethos and template...but under current condition and definition of the armed forces, tranny are and should be eligible.
