Not all the attributes listed mean dominance. Many mean ''successfull'', ''smart'', ''confident'',''helpfull''. And not all of those attributes are desirables either.
What women like, or attracted to, are men comfortable on their own skin, being the best they can be, and be sure of what they are, with no complexes.

I was coming in here to dismiss the theory outright, but having read your thread, I started to change my mind because you actually have a point.

The main question now is whether this is natural (biological/evolutionary trait) or is the product of society conditioning because, for a very long time, women were treated as weak and were not given opportunities - men were the only ones who were allowed to do a lot of things (e.g. work, vote etc.), they were seen as stronger and were the sole breadwinners of a family.

Maybe this resulted in a shift over time of what women find desirable in a man. It makes you wonder if, had society treated men and women equally from the start, would the attractive features be different? I think they probably would be.

People try to separate genetics and culture/upbringing, but they are tied in together. The genetics thrive because the environment is conducive and the environment is so because of people's tendencies.


And women are weak(er). That's biological fact. Evidence? Women's sports leagues. They can't compete on the same level as men in those sports. So what equality are women seeking? You're already less expendable than the average bro.
