I fully agree. PC culture deters the necessary actions to identify the problems with many cultural detriments in the US. The real question is...how do we kill PC culture?

By continuing to stand on the facts and fact based evidence, and supporting those voices that protest very loudly how PC culture is ruining American society.

Our problem is we have too many on government assistance. If we just channeled enough money to educate these people, rather than just support them, maybe we would have more educated people. Also, we need to push better, more productive fields. Like you mention, having a bunch of liberal arts majors is useless. We need scientists and engineers. We need a bunch of Elon Musks

Of course we will always need low skilled people, otherwise, how would the trash get taken out? Lol. But we do need a healthier population of engineering fields. And IT majors are not enough. We need scientists and Engineers. Yes, I agree fully.

But that's where I think we should shut the borders, enforce border security and make a 100% effort to train people, to make more scholarships and programs available for all Americans to get a higher education. We need to do this in-house. It's like this, if you are not paying bills, you don't need to be here. There are millions of people in US on welfare, food stamps etc. We need to get these people more training and education opportunities to pitch in. We have all these native-born people here we could train, and we are looking to immigration. To make America great again, we need to make Americans great again. All the taxes I pay, I'd rather see some of it go to educating and training Americans "by teaching them how to fish, rather than just giving them the fish".
