Not since 1568-1648 and the last time Germans tried to make the laws here for real (around 1000) they were crushed at the Battle of Vlaardingen. Completely Pwnd !

The last time the Germans wanted to take control in the Netherlands you were crushed.

We probably would have. The Sovjets would have beaten the hell out of the krauts before 1950 anyway. And then we would have been independent again as you would have collapsed.
