Well Germans get a bad rep a lot for supposedly being ugly. Not only do i hear this from Americans, but Europeans especially southerners a lot. I can't confirm that, i have little experience with Germans and much of the "Self proclaimed" German Americans ive come in contact with looked stereotypical Anglo as fuck. So i don't trust "German Americans" to show a proper representation since the majority of our Germans most likely have more colonial blood than they even know or let on.

My opinion? Germans should look just as good and bad as anyone else.

I think it's some sort of Medicism (an angry reaction to Nordicism) as I've heard that in Romania. However, these comments are usually made about all Germanics.

Hmmm...I think it's jealousy or a desire to prove superiority. There's no discussion in matters such as economy, standard of living, and overall cultural superiority between Romanians and Germans: it's clear who is superior.

However, this is one area where they can pride themselves with. It goes along the lines of: "Sure just about everything about you is better than us, but we've got better women."

And I've heard plenty of claims by Romanians that studies show Romanian women are the best-looking, but I doubt that's actually true. In fact, by what criteria would you develop such a study?

Germany is literally the heart of Europe and our many neighbours had always been wary when the Germans were united and strong. Even nowadays with all the land and people we lost, we still got the most "potential" in Europe, so we were basically too strong to not feel threaten by us on the other hand we werent strong enough to dominate our continent like the Americans do. Anyway old feelings die slowely and us not being too willing to finance their socialist fantasies anymore doesnt help either.
