Stereotypes of German people

People stereotype the Germans here for being super disciplined, and robotic. Serbs often stereotype Germans to be cold and soulless.

When I think of Germans I admit I instantly think of Nazis especially if I'm drunk and see a group of Germans.

If I'm a little more sophisicated in my stereotyping I think of very aloof, robotic people with very little sense of humour. I also think of how German tourists get up at 7am on holiday and put towels on all the deckchairs at holiday resorts, annoys the crap out of everybody else.

I also think of Drunken Mullet Acidwash wearing Eurotrash.

On the positive side Germans have a reputation of being organised, punctual, hard workers, intelligent and products from Germany are considered the best in the world.

Well Germans get a bad rep a lot for supposedly being ugly. Not only do i hear this from Americans, but Europeans especially southerners a lot. I can't confirm that, i have little experience with Germans and much of the "Self proclaimed" German Americans ive come in contact with looked stereotypical Anglo as fuck. So i don't trust "German Americans" to show a proper representation since the majority of our Germans most likely have more colonial blood than they even know or let on.

My opinion? Germans should look just as good and bad as anyone else.

I think in Australia it's the exact opposite. Germans are considered very good looking.

When i think of germans i think about the best of species, they are the ones with the most accomplishments and qualities, the whole world should be thankfull for the germans.

What happend in 1940 is nothing to be ashamed of anymore, since we are not from that generation, it seems some people have a hard time letting this go, i call them ignorant.

I don't tend to occupy my mind with stereotypes.

I believe that all stereotypes...even positive ones are harmful. They can be misleading, create false preconceptions or unattainable expectations.

From my firsthand experiences with German folk in my country,(There are many in Canada) as well as my interaction with them when I have visited Germany in the past; I can say that Germans are respectable, hardy, honourable, somewhat stoic, hard-working, and efficient. They have much to be proud of. (Especially their beer )

As for the "Germans are ugly" mantra mentioned earlier on....I must say that this is false. German woman are amongst the most beautiful in the world.

Tall,blond,disciplined,discrete,richer than us,drive only audi,bmw or mercedes ! When i see them in summer they look like aliens , very different of Breton/French exept maybe Alsacians idk.
