    Thumbs up Shakespeare and Original Prononciation

    I'm a bit of a Shakespeare nerd, so I found this video to be fabulously interesting. It compares the modern English accent, Received Pronunciation, to the early modern English accent - common during the Elizabethan and Jacobian eras - known as Original Pronunciation.

    The young guy's got a great voice.

    I'm not a Shakespeare nerd, but I love his sonnets. I've always found it so lame when people read them with modern pronunciation, making the final powerful rhymes often fail.
