That photo looks hella touched up. Her eyes do appear to be violet, but not quite that striking:

Her ancestry is English, Scottish and Swiss. Her parents were from Kansas.

She looks typical Briton-derived English (akin Elizabeth Hurley). I've noticed Americans of English ancestry keep on inventing false ancestries so they won't be identified as "WASPs", who are very negatively portrayed in jewish media and movie industry as evil "rednecks", "racists", "closet antisemites" and generally people who "kept black people down". This went to such a length that if one believes self-reported ancestry, there are more german-americans than english-americans, which is of course preposterous. In 1920s, it was estimated, even after a century of intense immigration, that 50% of whites were of English ancestry. Now, after 90 years of very little white immigration, are we to believe this number has dropped to 10%?...

When I first saw her, I thought she is Welsh, though...

One thing is for certain, she was not born in America.

Taylor was born in Hampstead, a wealthy district of north-west London, the second child of Francis Lenn Taylor (1897–1968) and Sara Viola Warmbrodt (1895–1994), who were Americans residing in England.
