it's more often the case today that hypersensitive loud mouth 'class war' types with a big chip on their shoudlers (such as 'northerners', students, and anyone who calls himself 'working class', and never forget to remind anyone that they are one of those) are looking out for any comment they can jump on and misinterpet/spin to whine about how they are discriminated against (this happens any time a 'nasty tory' speaks).

In this way anyone who is 'offended' like that has very much the same mentality as immigrants, race card players, the 'gay' lobby, muslims, etc.

Adding insult to injury, the poor bastards who the land had been robbed from (and thus their means of sustenance and dignity) were made to build the barriers around what once had been their right to use. that after centuries of loyal serfdom
there might be resentment at being replaced by foreigners,

but,
would it not be more consistent
for some one that self-describes as "working class"
to get off the dole and actually work?
