If the United States is forced to defend itself or its allies, “we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea,” President Trump told the UN today.

Unfortunately, U.S. leaders are known to employ a very liberal definition of 'defense', which includes pre-emptive strikes justified by misinterpreted, dubious, and on occasion even fabricated threats. A pledge from a U.S. official to use overwhelming force only in defense of itself or others is worthless.

As for Iran, the only reason why America is so aggressive toward it, is to please Israel. America would go to war with Iran for Israel's sake. But we will see what Mr Putin has to say about that.

I think the point is that he shouldn't be agitating the trigger-happy nuclear power if he doesn't have to.

Just keep your mouth shut and blow them to kingdom come if they attack you or your allies. No need to keep threatening them - it just pushes them closer to doing something stupid.

North Korea isn't like any other country. It's ruled by a man-child. You don't know what a man-child will do when he gets his hands on a powerful weapon. He could literally hold his neighbors hostage when that time comes.

honestly... this is american policy fault to why iran is building a nuke... america just illegally invaded iraq and has a military position in afghanistan. c.i.a in libya, syria

if i was in iran's position.. i would build a nuke as well, i know i can't fight america.. so i might resort to supporting terrorist . i would rather fight in dignity, than to beg for mercy on my knees..

america should have stayed in iraq for another 30 years ..concentrated in helping build iraq, afghanistan become prosperous ally just like what american did to japan..
that would have really given a credibility in the middle east.. that would make iran & other middle east more friendly with the U.S

USA isn't going to war with Iran. Barry and Kerry did a Nuke deal with Iran, which was really a Boeing deal to sell airliners to Iran Air and keep pace with Airbus in the region. Follow the money people. Israel or Bibi doesn't run our Foreign policy, Wall St and the large corporations do.

No one said to do nothing. Making a boogieman of everyone and aggression against other nations for fear or suspicion makes you an oppressor. Nuking another country also does not make the nation that was initially assaulted any better. Truth of the matter is, nations and their established systems are all some degree of corrupt. People have no excuse as they willingly give themselves to these lunatics and shed the blood of themselves and others to make devilish men more powerful. Everyone is just a follower. If soldiers used their brains instead of their guns, all these politicians would be in jail by now.
