Yes I am half Hungarian and half British.
I think the calculator is trying to plot us near halfway between the 2 regions.
Otherwise can be because Germans / East Germans can have mixture of North West/Central European and East European components.

I hate all these DNA tools and tests as they all contradict each other in someway pretty much more or less !

Yeah, I am in the sea too but I'm closer to East Anglia than you are. My ancestry on paper is Irish, English, German and Scottish but AncestryDNA keeps trying to tell me I am likley Ulster Irish LOL.

Mine was right on the border of Libya and Egypt. And I’m 100% known Sicilian and Southern Italian ancestry. My AncestryDNA gave me almost 1/4 Middle Eastern/Caucasus dna so I guess that makes sense. My dna is mostly from the Levant
