There is a lot of that in the USA relative to employment at major universities. The university I went to has a "diversity" policy in hiring
where they look to hire "non traditional" people, which means we will do what we can to not hire white men. Even if you are pretty much 100% caucasian it is better if your last name is Martinez as opposed to Mueller. That gives HR a box to check, Hispanic. LOL

Yes. But it's a huge country and racial proportions aren't the same everywhere. There are places that you barely see ''true'' whites* and others in which ''whites'' are the majority.
Anyway, the people in upper class/upper middle class and middle class tend to be white or at least predominantly European. That's the reason they passed this ridiculous law.

*I have some friends from my town living in the North and they are asked all the time if they are foreigners/Europeans/Americans. Brazil in a certain way is more similar to USA than to places like Mexico. Most people think otherwise because they are ignorant.

The riches tend to be more white here, not middle class. Middle class Brazilians can be anything, specially in places like Rio de janeiro where most people are mixed race.

You're cherrypicking. And people in the first picture don't need to deal with problems like violence, cultural degeneration, robbery, rape etc. Who cares if they don't have Iphones?
They have a good life. They have where to live, what to eat, they have an identity. You'll never find a ''favela'' in the rural South.

The same way, is better to live in Albania, Romania or Bulgaria than in London despite the fact London is ''richer''. And, no, you didn't disproved what I said.

Just look at life expectancy for example, the better states are the whitest ones.

Places like Rio are rich because they have a very rich white minority who elevate their statistics. People who live in the southern parts of the city. But most of them live in fear of black thugs and robbery. Not an ideal life.
