This guy surprisingly is close to Turkmens and Nogais, imo we can consider Ulash as what would a Turkish immigrant from Central Asia in 11th century genetically look like in GEDmatch calculators

You seem to plot in triangle between Turkmenians, Nogays and Uzbeks which is normal considering your Western Oghuz Turcoman and Eastern Kypchak-Nogay ancestry. Congrat.

The original Oghuz Turks were not full blown Mongoloid or Siberians as most people assume or believe. They already had significant influence from their "Caucasoid" neighbours. They were already Eurasian before even setting foot into Anatolia. If the Oghuz were full Siberians, than Anatolia would have looked quite Mongoloid influenced. It would be similar to what happened to Mexico, which has significant South European levels, which did alter the original Amerindian phenotype. The Anatolian phenotype was not altered drastically, by the incoming of Oghuz tribes, meaning they were not that Mongoloid to begin with, but were more Eurasian like.

    Yes this is a fact
imo genetic ancestry of Turks is something like this

According to my hypothesis Turks descended from people who were Turkmen/Nogai like, around 20-40% mongoloid. Ancestors of Oghuzes were similar to modern day Kazakhs and Kyrgyzes, they were around 50-80% mongoloid. And their ancestors were similar to Mongolians.
Some Turks have "Kazakh/Kyrgyz" ancestry in Gedmatch calculators.
    for example
    19 Baku_WGA_ + Baku_WGA_ + Kazakh_ + Sicilian_Center_ @ 2.734671

    1 50% Armenian +25% Italian_Abruzzo +25% Kazakh @ 5.009918

    1 50% Armenian +25% Central_Greek +25% Kirgiz @ 3.642564

in other 2 pop approx they appear as
    1 50% Armenian +50% Turkmen_Afghan @ 4.170694
    1 50% Lebanese_Muslim +50% Nogay @ 6.231666
    1 50% Sephardic_Jewish +50% Turkmen @ 6.514019

The Kazakh/Kyrgyz ancestry is around 20-30%. Since the Turks did not descend from any Kazakhs or Kyrgyzes, i think the Oghuzes themselves were a mix of Turkics who were similar to Kazakhs/Kyrgyzes and Iranians. Hence in some calculators Turks have results like this. This is one of the proofs that back my hypothesis. But we cannot be sure until we excavate Oghuz/Seljuk graves and extract their DNA.

Congratulations on receiving and posting for us your results, my brother!

You have a very interesting genetic history, and are a clear son of Asena!

    Best wishes from Hungary!
