My mother is mixed race but sometimes she consider herself black even tho she looks 20/30% indigenous acccording to TA users, and sometimes she claims to be mixed
Who cares? POC never let crackers decide what we are. My father is black but his mother was very light skinned and i didnt remember what she used to claim to be but society always called her moreninha because she was too light and people in Brazil dont care about one drop rule. But if she claimed to be black I would support her blackness, if she claimed to be mixed i wouldnt care because she indeed couldnt pass in Africa.


I used to troll Alnortedelsur but lets be real here: Many people claimed hes not white because he was like 5/6% ssa and native but why is Obama black? I support their blackness if they consider themselves black but if they dont and go around claiming to be mixed race then we dont need cracker niggas in our community

The problem is pure Blacks don't want to claim mixed people as Black. This phenomenon of claiming mixed people as Black is only present in the Americas or sometimes outside of Africa in general. In Brazil, I like to identify myself as Black because we are going through a political struggle against racism towards Blacks, Mulattoes and Quadroons in that country. But in Europe, I am seen as mixed by both Blacks and Whites so I couldn't say I am Black even if I wanted to here.
