    Default Which Italian area is phenotypically closest to Greece?

    I split up the poll into what I believe to be meaningful groupings.

    A few notes:

    Lucania = Basilicata

    And I included Malta with the extreme south.

    Puglia and Calabria without any doubt, but I'm not sure which one has more similarity with Greece in terms of phenotypes.

    Apulia and Calabria look different from one another. Calabrese are darker with, in my view, more Near Eastern input than Apulians.

    In my opinion it is Apulia, and this makes sense genetically and phenotypically but I am curious if the question is asked, what people put.

    I think all of Italy is close to Greece, because on ancestryDNA they are both linked together as Italy/Greece.
