I was vpro Palestine...I think many people did feel sympathy with the plight of this people. Their fight for a homeland had much support through the whole West.
But now, after decades of terrorism, of arabic infighting, of an inability to accept the reality and make the best of it, of making even far away's people hell that sympathy has dwindled down to nothing.
Especially as the Palestinians let themselves being ruled by terrorists which still have the mass murder of the Jews as their goal, NOT the best of their people.
It's as if the Palestinians and most of the Arabs are willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING, even a peaceful future, to their altar of Jew hate. An altar which now also includes the hate of the West.
With time I came to the sad conclusion that the Palestinians still prefer to "fight", still prefer to live in poverty in refugee camps, prefer to teach their young ones to keep up the fight instead to recognizing the fact that the state of the Jews ist there to stay, to build a common future with Israel. So it makes not much sense anymore to cater to their sensibilities, to "wait" for them to come to their common sense...so, yes...it was a right sign to show them the finger with the Jerusalem move by Trump.
It has become useless to treat them as a real partner for negotiations....just ignore them....recognize Jerusalem as the one jewish capital. It shouldn't matter what terrorists think!
My sympathy now belongs with Israel, the democratic, modern, western thorn deep in the arabs, muslim, terrorist flesh...and I support every move which is strenghtening this tiny, but oh so sharp and strong thorn!
Who made me change that way? I tell you, it have been the Arabs themselves...
