Yeah kind of like Germans during WW2 didn't hate Jews, it's just that their minds were indoctrinated with rubbish propaganda.
I actually know feminists who don't hate men at all.
But the OP is asking about these who do (some surely do), and is asking why they do this. I agree, they usually don't hate all men, usually just some specific groups. It tends to be a high percentage of men though.
