Why does no one ever see Turkey as European when PART of Turkey is in Europe?

Clearly part of Turkey is in Europe and is even more Western physically than parts of Russia and Ukraine. We can debate the culture and religion but we must admit that a Turk that is born on the European soil of Turkey is European. This is a a Yes or No question. Europe is a physical place(continent).

Being European is not interested in being born in European soils. A part of Turkey can be in Europe but as history, culture, religion, benefits, ideas are different than Europe countries. And as people west of Turkey are like European people yes but still to describe yourself as European doesnt fit completely to us. We have still some Anatolian, Asian even middle eastern influnces inside us. I think saying Euroasian is better for us lol.

I agree with you but not in the last point. Infact someone in Europe proposed to incorporate ISRAEL into Europe, which would be a) to deny what before said, i.e. the part of Turkey which is european is a minority (Israel is NOT european at all); b) Europeans we don't want problems/war: Israel is a SPRING OF PROBLEMS/ wars

Your philosophy is very strange indeed. By the way, following your thoughts, NO COUNTRY has ancient history except maybe Sardinia or Basque, or other few populations that have Neolithic DNA...... all the other nations have been washed up by the following conquerors, so that the past as well has been washed up?? This does not work this way in our emisphere. History teaches that the conquerors almost always did not commit genocide of the entire populations but mixed up with them. I've red that somebody thinks (for example) that the celts of northern italy were genocided by the german invasions which is not true, because they mixed up with us, specially the Longobards who remained in Italy even when they were defeated by the Franks.
Somebody says that South Tyrol is not italian forgetting that Istria or Savoy or Nice are in the same situation (just to make an example on almost recent times).
It is RIDICULOUS not to take into account the past history of the nations because we are like we are due to the complicated cultural/genetic building of our nations.
So, Turkey is not only ottomans. Turkey is also romans, byzantines, anatolians, greeks, Celts (Galatia), Hittites, Hurrites and so on. As well other nations are built on many civilizations.
And, please stop to spread around the theory that the present italians are not anymore the ROMANS. WE ARE THE ROMANS. Fullstop.

Most old world countries (i.e. China, Ireland, Russia, etc) have the same ethnic and religious groups they did 1000 years ago. Turkey does not.
