Why do people defend Serbs?

I wouldn't say that ppl defend Serbs, I have to be transparent and fair-play here, in fact Serbs are portraited as villains in mainstream, especially in West ofcourse.

In every Hollywood movie if someone would be Serbian, or somethin about Serbia; it would always be negative.

Main villains in American movies considering nationality; Russians, Arabs, Serbs and Germans from WW2.

P.S. This is for author of this thread; you cannot blame all Serbian nation and ppl, I as a Croat cannot blame entire Serbian nation, why would you even want to portrait all Serbs as negative/bad ppl?

I dont know what mainstream do you (author of the thread) follow and where did you get your ideas that Serbs are defended from someone, they are in fact attacked in mainstream medias by everyone (except Russia, Greece, Romania is neutral, etc...), and I think it is not fair that everyone attacks them, and when I say everyone I mean western medias, and we all know that western medias are almost Alpha and Omega on this planet.

Yes, Serbs had bad politics, sure, but what do you want more of them? Almost all of their ppl from Ex-Yugoslav war are convicted in International court of justice in Den Haag, so (no offence man) but what would exactly satisfy you completely, that all Serbs kill themselves? Mass suicide?

Republic of Srpska is not a state, it's an entity INSIDE OF Bosnia and Herzegovina (and that is a true state recognized by entire world), Republic of Srpska at best is somethin like Catalonia in Spain, so ... what country?

If it wasn't for the West the Bosnian war wouldn't have ended in a draw. Bosniaks would have lost and the area split between Serbs and Croats. Tudsman had no love for Muslims. The only reason Izetbegović took the risk of going against partition is because he had US support and probably assumed he would have gotten more military aid instead of NATO troops bumbling about the land. Izetbegović's gamble would have lost him everything if you subtract the US/West out of the equation.

I'm not interested in going down this long road. We can talk all night about what could have happened. Nothing is certain.

I never heard of a state inside of a country, except if you're referring to a model such as USA, but USA is totally different case, no state there has "state", they all answer to Washington one way or another.

As I've said to you, Rep.of Srpska at best is like a case of Catalonia in Spain, it is up to you ppl in Bosnia and Herzegovina to make that state (Bosnia and Herzegovina) functional for benefit of all ppl there.

IMO model of your country is somethin like Switzerland, only mindset of ppl living in your country (including Croats from over there) is 10 000 light years away from Switzerland.
