the easy way

so, i've been an atheist for quite a while now. actually, for as long as i can remember. i wanted to know what some of you would think if you looked at atheism as "the easy way", much like christianity is.

christianity provides answers (even if they are ethereal ones, most of the time) for everything. could it not be argued that atheism does the same by stating there is nothing? there is nothing so there is no need to worry about any of that stuff. there is a god, and he has everything planned out for us. i guess i never really thought about the parallels mentioned here that allow people to abandon their responsibility to their minds.

anyways, i just thought it was neat.

I guess Atheism says that in terms of a god or deity, there is nothing.
I dont feel like the answers to other life questions its "there is nothing". There is something, theres a lot, its just that its not godly.

Atheism is far more arrogant than Christianity, which at least leaves room for mystery. Atheists are know-it-alls / engineers.
