I have a question for you.
I have wondered for some time is it possible that besides of our own genetic backgroud also our native language - language the we speak everyday - has real impact on our facial appearance? By native language I mean this language which we have spoken through childhood, which we have learnt since early age. I have seen a lot of people of completely Polish root (Polish father and mother) but because they've grown up in English speaking enviroment and they first language in English they've lost their typical Polish kind of looks in comparison to their parents for example. Especially in the mouth area IMO. I don't know maybe its my vague, personal and consequently biased impression but I have observed this phenomenon in a lot of people who I met during my few visits to USA. Those people were Polish but born in US. Is it possible that the way we learn to pronounce different vowels and consonants influences so much our phenotype that produces visible difference in appearance in adult age? Though it is well known fact that f.i. Germanic languages have different vowels not present in languages from Slavic group
plz feel free to say your opinions and experiences, thanks
