I arrived at page 500 of the book "De l'Esprit des lois", tome 1 (there are 604 pages); I finished the previous book (not Montesquieu).
I want read this one, now:
I will also certainly buy Gaston Vuillier's big book "The Forgotten Islands, the Balearic Islands, Corsica and Sardinia". I will would also buy books on the so-called "Celts" (I have a doubt about their existence) and the Gauls, etc.
(These photos were not taken by me):

The best sci-fi novel I know of. An annoying thing about most sci-fi settings is that they're extremely scientifically inaccurate - for example technological level enough to perform interstellar journeys, yet weapons and computer usage are on a very similar level compared to the present (generally, authors are constantly underestimating how essential would computer science be in future everyday life, I think relatively soon, our very brains will be almost always connected with some equivalent of the internet), there are pointy-eared logical first officers instead of actually "alien" alien, etc. All these stupid tropes are fortunately averted here.
