Who is whiter, the irish or the scandinavians?

No. The Irish are the westernmost European in Northern Europe and they are an insular people, thus would have less admixture than even the British. That was a very stupid poster anti-Irish, because they were Catholics in a Protestant Northern European world. Genetically Irish have even less ancient Northern African and ancient genes than Scandinavians. I don't believe Scandinavians and Finnish have Mongoloid or East Asian admixtures, but rather have some Uralic admixture due to their proximity and also interbreeding at times with the Saami people of the far-north.

Scandinavians, except for icelandics, in my opinion, are not as light as the irish. They are the palest nation out there. Scandinavians tend to be more yellow than pale, and can tan easily. The irish, just burn like meat. Scandinavians have more blonde individuals, but, the irish have more redheads. I would say the irish.

The Irish are paler, due to the fact that their ancestors adapted to a climate which is gloomier than of Scandinavia. Thus developed an even lighter skin than what would be average in Northern Europe.

Can we move on from these sort of threads please? What does "white" even mean? By whiter are people talking about skin? All Europeans are a mixture of EEF, ANE, CHG, EEF etc etc; some have a bit extra mixture from other groups but everyone born on the continent of Europe with long term ancestry are Europeans. If you look back far enough we all have ancestry from brown people. The Yamnaya were darker than any present day Europeans for example. I'm not being PC either as Europeans are their own unique blend but it's a bit silly arguing about which group is whiter. It will depend on what criteria you are using.

I know no one is going to take any heed of what I'm saying but you have to agree it's a bit crazy.
