The Greek parliament has passed in principle a draft bill on new rules for granting asylum to migrants and refugees, aimed at speeding up the lengthy process.

Following a lengthy debate on Tuesday evening the bill was approved with the votes of ruling coalition partners SYRIZA and the Independent Greeks (ANEL), along with centrist Potami (River) party.

Stupid idea. I understand refugees migrate away from the terror imposed in their nations by their own and western powers. However, there should be a rigorous process of vetting refugees. My own family were living in an Italian refugee camp for over a year before they were granted approval to come to the United States. Not every refugee means well, but not every refugee is your sterotypical drain on society or terrorist.

Theres no reason why some regufees or longtime settlers from the middle east should be pushing Sharia Law in a country that opened its doors to them. I don't give a fuck what you believe. Respect the nation and culture you came to instead of trying to turn it into the shit hole you ran away from. Things like music, folklore and cuisine and language rights are all peachy. When you try to change the laws and structure of a nation to conform to the chaos you ran from you should be deported back.

Plain and simple. The middle east expects people to respect their religion and law when they come to their country. So traditionally some muslim countries require women cover themselves. If they wan't that respect they need to respect western nations and adopt the culture of the land they settle, or move somewhere the shit they want is practiced.

I am a non denomination Muslim American of Albanian descent. My culture is American with a dab of the old country. My religion stays in the door. If others can't understand these basic things, don't migrate.
