Asians are much closer to Caucasoid populations than amerindians are.

Amerindians are proto-mongoloid, which is closer to caucasoid, and have ANE imput (from approx 1/4~1/3), specially northern amerindians.

Of course his results are accurate if 23andme detects certain admixture it is real.

I think he took the the Early 23andme test that were over estimating european ancestry in Mestizos by 10-12%.

it depends on the asian.. don't for get asians are in general lighter than native americans (east asians), and also japanese are a special case, cause they can have jomom admix, which resemble caucasoid features, you should use a half chinese as better example.

Asian, simply because its a whole different "pure" race, while amerindian is mostly asian but actually has a bit of an ANE (pseudo-caucasoid you could say) substratum (as well as oceanian influence even, has been discussed that before the paleo-americans (amerindians) arrived to North America, some oceanian tribes reached South America and iirc in some amazon tribes the DNA remained, although obviously in small percentage)
