I've seen the map with the votes by region and it is true the western part of France has voted socialist (usually more open to immigration than the political right). Maybe this is related to having less immigration and are less aware of the problems caused by uncontrolled 3dr world invasion.

That's what I used to think too, but look at Champagne-Ardenne, they're very rural and have few immigration, yet the right and the FN make among their very best scores there.

How is the immigration situation in Catalonia, increasing or is stable now in times of economic austerity ?

I'm not much aware of the figures for 2012, but from what I remember reading here and there I'd say this year has stabilized a bit.

Same here, aparently. Some brazilians are returning home and not arriving anymore, there's no work and less welfare.

Africans normally don't leave, i guess they have nowhere to go.

Fortunately we don't have many muslim immigration, they usually dedicate to commerce like the chinese and are not problematic.

In the past 5 years they have given portuguese nationality by year to 30.000 africans (cape verdeans, guinea), brazilians etc.. that's a very bad situation, and dont belive in that media crap, they dont leave, even if some of them leave Portugal, the birth rates of the other 90% are far enough for them to continue to threaten our portuguese/european national identity of each passing year.

The north of Portugal has many brazilians and some africans already.

Algarve is a disgrace, lots of everything.

I know that was a joke, but in fact some people think like that into an ignorant way, mostly people from north Portugal and from Évora, Beira etc.. cause its a matter of time to spread to all portuguese nation, from Algarve to Minho.
