The Russified Turkic peoples do not have a high contribution to Russian culture. Some of them do not even feel that they are Turks, they consider themselves Russian Slavs or simply don't care. Azerbaijanis are an example of the Russification of the Turks, I did not see them occupying high-ranking positions in Russia, usually they work as builders and or watermelon sellers, and this happens only because Slavic Russians do not want to work for pennies. If you talk about the Kazan Tatars, they are loyal to the Slavic Russians. You should visit Kazan, Tatars aren't majority of population in Tatarstan. They are surrounded by Russians. I hope that the next government after Putin will be more Slavic-oriented.
