Besides, I believe that most of these ''fully-fledged'' homosexuals are actually bisexual in nature, but choose a member of their own gender for specific reasons. Easier to communicate with, more in common, feel an affinity for trust, insecurity about masculinity/femininity; thus filling the gaps.

For instance: my sister has a friend who identifies strictly as a homosexual. Even though he has admitted to her that he still has attraction to girls resonating deeply within himself. He just felt convinced that he couldn't ever be ''one of the guys''.

Hearing this makes me question how many more people out there are gay for this or similar reasons

Well obviously. However, discussion forums are a place for debate and to speak ones mind with or without negative repercussions. I disagree with a lot of views here, and maybe post some controversial material to some people. I'm afraid that you didn't understood what I or Heimmacht wanted to tell you. There's no choice to make. You can't influence your natural feelings and I had to break the relationship with my former boyfriend over this virtuality. As a matter of fact, right now there's no desire for a male cohabitant. And where're no feelings or lust there's no room for a relationship or something of that ilk. I'm not attracted by men for the time being, less than ever before. And there was no decision at all.

I can only speak for myself and your conjecture doesn't hit the nail. You make the same mistake again and speak of choice. Pardon, but again I've to tell you that there's no choice. You feel what you feel and you're attracted to people you're attracted to. You can't decide if you fall in love or not and you can't decide if something arouses you or not. We go in circles if we continue this any longer. You must understand that sexual preference and love is not a question of choice or reason. Listen, you could call it a birth defect if you like to but all I can say is that I'm a mere plaything of my natural intrinsic needs and desires. And I do what I feel is the best for me. Do you want to prohibit people to lead a happy and satisfied life? Because I'm not going to accept that.

I'm not going to teach that. I'm off the norm. But our societies need children to continue to exist and as a healthy and prideful woman I want to do my part in upkeeping our people. And I've a lot of love to give.

How many single moms or single dads do a great job in raising their children these days? They give all they have and most are highly successful. Against all odds.
