I don't think there is any doubt that Turkey is a Nordic Scandinavian country.

I think mostly of Israel/Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq. The Arabian peninsula is usually not included but called just that instead. Iran is usually not included either, except by some kind of association / extension. Turkey apparently is included in most definitions but I personally do not think of Turkey as a Middle Eastern country.

Turks who defeated Eastern Roman Empire 1071 are not Europeans, but since 1071 they have been merged with Anatolians (they gave Anatolians new language, religion and shared parts of their culture).
