My position is they should be able to decide their own destinies without the fear of being absorbed by India, Indonesia, Malaysia or Vietnam into South/Southeast Asia. Tibetans today are in charge of their own culture, serve under their own divisions in the military, are increasingly involved in politics and their culture is being preserved by tibetans themselves. Furthermore, tibetans never asked for independence, they wanted autonomy. Yes, I sympathize with the exiled tibetans since being kicked out of your own home sucks as well. I never brag about massacring them the way I've seen many viets boast to have done to your neighbors.

Tibetans and han chinese are daughters of one mother, while viets and filipinos form your own cluster.
