No. Brussels historically was succesfully Frenchified. The white Brusselers are mostly descendants of Dutch-speakers, some of old Francophone elite and only a few of Walloons. However more than 50% of Brussels has some recent immigrant background and 25% is muslim. French is the lingua franca there and only 7% speaks Dutch as his/her first language (though most are familiar with it regardless and Dutch-speaking schools are popular).

The climate remains such that only Francophone parties have a voice there and socialism seems unbreakable no matters how bad they mess up.

Europeans, what do you think about what said in this video? Is it really as bad as described with the recent immigration waves?

1) It's way worse.

2) But there are several things that most people don't know about,

a) the problem isn't "immigrants" they've purposely imported welfare clients and expelled immigrants with qualified jobs. So if you want to hire an Indian IT guy, you'll have problems. But if you're an illiterate with a large family the authorities will give you welfare benefits and practically buy you a home.

b) due to feminism they've hired and promoted women everywhere, which means that a lot of institutions don't function due to the incompetence of women.

c) all of the Working Class is White Trash, and possibly the Middle Class too.

d) emigration. Everyone who can is getting out.

3) As you can see, there's no way to turn this around.

Even more so than in the Netherlands so I've heard. Perhaps it needs time or better said ''generations'' for this to problem become any better. The only true remedy seems to divide them among the native population and eventually force them to marry Belgian women, only I don't know if that's realistic and preferable instead of forcing a social program onto their offspring through education. Either way it'd be better for everyone if they're going to integrate, although I'm a supporter of maintaining culture and identity.
