I saw a recorded temperature of 51C recently in an African nation. It must be difficult to productive in such hot weather.

Secondly, centuries of wars, oppression, and having their resources stolen.

I wouldn't like to live in that type of bakingly hot desert climate.

Ancient Egypt in NE Africa was very advanced.

Australia is doing fine in blistering hot weather.

Europe had countless wars against each other and they came out on top, as well as Asian countries like Japan and China.

Many countries have been taken over by invaders and weren't able to defend itself like Egypt, a European example would be the Roman Empire.

By themselves or European invaders who made the tiniest footprint. The European countries have also left Africa for a while now, surely their countries aren't so rescource deprived that they couldn't turn it around?

They were still defeated, the Italians rebuilt and so did the Egyptians, not as much but still did. Also, killing one's self doesn't circumvent the defeat.
