It depend on your definition of white nationalist. He was surrounded by jews economist and forbade the chilean nazi party. Also he was a freemason and hardly white himself anyway, as the vast majority of chilean have some degree of amerindian ancestry. So I would say no. Then, he was probably more favorable to the more or less "white' chileans than to the amerindians and other category of the population of mostly non-european descent, if it was your question.

Imo, pinochet is overrated, even the helicopter thing wasn't only his doing, other south american government did it. The french did also similar things during the Algerian War, but it was with planes and it was not really against commies.

From what i see, lefts governemts in Latin America have usually ethnic profils. Amerindians or mixed peoples (Morales, Chavez, Maduro).

lol, no way. In Brazil most leftists are even whiter than the average population. Most leftists in Latin America are White liberals from big cities too, poor colored people tend to be conservative.
