I much prefer that any daughter I have (If I have any, considering that I want to be a missionary one day), I would prefer her to marry a respectable Filipino. But it's ok if she decides to marry a Macedonian.

One of my Greek 2nd cousins is actually dating a fyrom Australian born guy, my grandma and some elderly people in the family made some typical comments about it but they mostly accept it and don't care. Most of the people on my Greek side only marry other Greeks and I am guessing it's the same with Slavic Macedonians.

It's usually better for people should stick to their own kind in my opinion. This is why I would prefer to marry another mixed race person like myself. If people are super into their own culture then they should definately not date outside their community.

I wouldn't really object unless I knew the guy was of bad character, regardless of ethnicity. If he's a good guy and my future daughter liked him, I would welcome him.

I have met a few Macedonians IRL and they weren't very good people to say the least, so while my experience with Macedonians (or Balkanites) up to this point hasn't been great, the sample size was far too small, and I can't generalise a whole nation based on a few bad apples.

I would encourage her to go for CANZUK+US citizens, but good character>>>ethnicity.

Not many left in the country. Most fled the country or were rounded up by Bulgarian facists.

There's a Holocaust memorial center for the Jews of Macedonia in Skopje. I recommend you see it one day.

Jews of Macedonia were Sephardic i think.
