Are there any kind of Mediterranid types in Iran? I think they are mostly Iranid... No one can make such assumptions based only on hair/eye/skin tone. There are other features to be considered. And, by the way, Penelope looks way better without that awful easternizing Hollywood make-up she wears.

Not saying they are mediterranid, only on surface appearances some (very few) coud get away in looking european. And yes obviously there are other features to consider. I'm not saying Penelope looks typically iranian.
Theres a far difference from her and lets say Aylar Lie.
To the average person on the street, these assumptions could happen. I wouldnt have guessed this iranian girl on my floor was from iran for instance, or even middle eastern.

Average French is MUCH MORE EASTERN LOOKING (dinarism?) than the average neighbour from the naturally isolated fortress of the south called Iberia.
