Well the Irish voted no to the Lisbon Treaty, but the EU dictators rejected their no vote and forced the Irish to have a revote - until they suddenly changed their iniital no vote to a yes vote to suit the Eurocratic dictators in Brussels.

The Northern Irish and Scots voted to remain in the EU.

Yes, ofc. I made a lot of anti EU videos on YT for several years and constantly complained about the EU, prior to the Brexit referendum, and I went out and voted for Brexit during the referendum. I despise the EU and dictator Merkel and I wish more nations would leave the EU and help to break-up the EUSSR dictatorship.

Sorry but the UK and Canada have terrible immigration policies and a free for all mentality. Australia and NZ still allow far too many low-grade migrants also but at least have some semblance of sanity to their policies. They do not allow economic migrants to abuse the refugee system either.

Until both those nations have the balls to match Australia's hard-line refugee policy, neither should be allowed the "free movement of peoples".

In fact, NZ lost a great portion of the goodwill between our two nations by allowing these 3rd rate people to backdoor into Australia through weak immigration policy. Now listening to the politicians here whinge about how Australia treats NZ'ers today is embarrassing. The people being deported are by and large ethnics bought up within families with a gang culture that started here.

Economically, Australia and NZ weathered the UK dropping us in favour of the EEC and have in turn developed stronger economies not reliant on any singular nation. (Although China has become a big client to both nations products) Both have turned their attention to the Pacific rim and the opportunities available to us here.

What has Britain or Canada (sorry Canada but Trudeau is a sap) got that we need? This seems to be a reaction to the possibility Brexit is about to become painful and they need some support.
