Poland shares a border with Kaliningrad (Russian territory) and Belarus (Russian client state).

So Russian influence/a Russian invasion is something that worries a lot of them. Those very worried about Russia want an American military base to ward off Russia whereas others less worried/not worried about Russia would oppose an American military base there.

Not sure what you're exactly referencing regarding what happened 4 years ago, maybe Peterski could elaborate on that. But it should be mentioned they had a different party in power 4 years ago. But seeking friendship doesn't mean you shouldn't be wary.

I don't think it's fair to consider nations which don't like us because of the immigration, because it's hard to compare which one of them dislike us the most. Also I can bet most of these countries actually don't care about us.
