Yes, because fat was associated with people eating enough and able to afford a lot of food such as meat. It was associated with nobility and sedentarity, meaning that they had a comfortable social position and no need to burn calories outside to work in fields. Hard work was associated with poor society, the ones who had intense physical activity.
Now that's the opposite, sedentarity means you're having a "no life", staying too much at home without any interesting activity or social life. Fat is associated with low quality food rich in calories and shit like industrial ones because they are cheaper and poor people can afford it despite it's ruining their health. Healthy foods is expensive when you think about it. Organic food, fresh vegetables and fruits, it needs a good salary to buy it from stores unless you grow them by yourself.

The Albanians, these tigers of mountain wars ... have as their religion rebellion. Even their worst warrior is one of the strongest and bravest on the battle-field, just as if he was a knight on the legendary horse. But he has no horse, nor proper weapons for battle. Instead of the horse, he has a lance which strikes as lightning, he has spears who's points are full of posion as the sting of hornets, he has also a wooden bow with some arrows. Furthermore, he is stronger than iron ...
