Poles; Do You Feel Any Affinity With Ashkenazi Jews?

Ashkenazi Jews & Poles Share a long history of 1,000 years of co-existance, including much shared cultural heritage. For example, there's a huge cross-over in culture & cuisine with many "Jewish" dishes actually being Polish & vice versa.

Do Poles feel any affinity with Ashkenazi Jews or Jewish culture?

Personally I don't. My family is from rural areas and is of a Balto-Slavic origin. Jews were more common in cities. They are of a Levantine/Middle Eastern origin (at least partially).
I feel affinity with Balts and Northern Slavs but not Jews.
