Default do you think iq science is accurate?

for me its hard to believe from one value from such a test you can predict everything like behaviour if someone is poor or rich or if he is criminal and violent and also whole nations like rushton does also i dont believe intelligence is only inherited if you read at young age or play a instrument and are curious you could have higher intelligence then only if you play with toy cars and never read if you take drugs or smoke and drink your iq will decrease but then again can someone predict based on iq if you are likely to use substances

IQ is less important for achievement than other factors such as motivation, focus and interest....

Well, since iq science today is labeled as racism, nazism, and white supremacist propaganda, yes, I find it very accurate.

Not always accurate on individual level. You can increase your IQ by learning and preparing for the IQ test, which means that much of the IQ is a set of condition your society is teaching you at that particular time.

However, you must have the capacity to learn and on a wide regional and national level, they tend to accurately show the level of intelligence of the population. At least, the tested portion of the population.

Some countries take this very seriously and only test young people in universities because of the propaganda behind it. Like China, for example. Which makes tests for these countries unreliable.

    Somewhat.

I think it gives you rough idea about somebody's mental abilities (or limitations) but it say nothing about our talent or success in life. Also I think it measure only certain kind of intelligence, while there are many other aspects to it which are equally important.

No. I don't think it possible to quantize all of human mental abilities in single number

IQ science is meant to be studied on large demographics, it is not very accurate on the individual level.
Have you read "IQ and the Wealth of Nations" of Richard Lynn? it may help you to understand the relation between the two notions.

Yes. early childhood education, diet etc of course play a major role. Intelligence and life skills seem to be largely genetic. The way a person is raised will have a big impact on their IQ scores. Actually, Intelligence is the ability to adapt yourself to succeed in your environment. Having higher IQ than someone doesn't mean you are smarter than him/her. But IMO having higher IQ means you can learn things 'faster'. It is a measure of how quickly you process information. IQ does not mean you have put in the work to learn, but on equal playing fields, the higher IQ will excel. But the point is you can't quantify intelligence in one, or any amount, of tests. To your another question, iq test can't predict whether you are poor, violent, racist, criminal, smoker lol. Are you a quick learner and can grasp concept about physics and math without much trouble?
