Hello everyone,
A Finnish (and partly German) 21-year-old new member salutes The Apricity! My interests include history, anything related to the military, philosophy, traditionalism (À la Julius Evola), mathematics, hunting, skiing, music (black metal, martial, neofolk etc.)... I suppose there are too many things to mention here, but perhaps you'll learn more about me when I start posting I first stumbled upon The Apricity when I was looking for some information related to certain anthropological issues, and this site seemed to be so interesting that I decided to make an account myself.
Anyway, my Weltanschauung is pretty much summarized in my signature. It's taken from the last rune of Kalevala, the Finnish national epic. If you're interested in the English translation, here it goes:
"Suns may rise and set in Suomi,
Rise and set for generations,
When the North will learn my teachings,
Will recall my wisdom-sayings,
Hungry for the true religion.
Then will Suomi need my coming,
Watch for me at dawn of morning,
That I may bring back the Sampo,
Bring anew the harp of joyance,
Bring again the golden moonlight,
Bring again the silver sunshine,
Peace and plenty to the Northland."
