Haven't heard of any gold-digger legacy of Greek women in the West but the "Golden decade of Greece" just meant that the poor will have a plate to eat and some lucky friends of PASOK will get to drive a Mercedes, this came with the cost of destroying any flourishing industrialism and put the country in debt 10-20 years later.
