    Never been there to judge but I get that impression that Philippines economically stable morderm western etc is at level for example of Ecuador or El Salvador but not fucked up as Bolivia Haiti Guatemala etc

    Inequality is definitely worse in some other parts of Asia imo, but I think as an average the Phillipines might be pretty bad.

    A. Rural life and village life is far different from the urbanised areas. Housing, infrastructure to roads. Electricity, water and sewerage. Pretty pictures but not the life the majority of Filipinos live.
    Nine out of ten concerns are completely unfounded.

    Yea like I would think that every country has their upscale vs ghetto areas, and Philippines is no exception. In some areas of Philippines you will feel as if you are in Los Angeles or Berlin, while others Papua New Guinea. True that you'll often see slums across the street from where the rich people go.
