America had one profound edge during the war... no let's make it two: armaments production and making money.

And actually fighting the war was not amongst those. I doubt whether the British of 1941 and 1942 were too impressed with the arriving Americans..
Okay, you've made this argument before and it's time to prove just how simple anti-American retardation is to refute: what position would Canada have been in to liberate the Netherlands without the US being in the conflict and liberating virtually everyone else? I mean, no knock on Canadians, but you make it sound as if they could have liberated your country without the US role. Seriously dude, you're too much.

The horrors of war are due to the legacy of Hitler, and that is the public perception. The very disdain felt across Europe of Germans in uniforms is directly attributable to the war time excesses of Hitlerism. Given this it was unsurprising to see anti-war histrionics comparing Americans to fascists.

Obama does not speak for me as an American. Why attack Columbia so misused against herself? That is some pretty messed up stuff. Too much hypocritical finger pointing.

Back on topic: If it weren't for Obama, Transatlanticism might be in better shape, and people thought Bush was in error. They had no clue Obama was going to be President.
