Recall reading that Scot-Irish (went from Scotland to Ireland? something like that) and then to America.
Irish can have different phenotypes, but very pale skin.
They are from mostly South West Scotland, from the plantations and the Scottish border Clearances of the early 17th century to the Scottish famine of the late 17th century. Basically poor people that went through the Issues that the Irish themselves went through but used in a game by the establishment.

What does the fact that they were supposedly "poor" have to do with anything? Everyone was poor in the 17th century, other than wealthy landowners essentially.

The Scots southwest borders was war torn for centuries, the Presbyterians were second to the Anglicans in Ireland also.

The Ulster Scots are basically distant cousins to my family. Don't take it the wrong way when I say poor, we were poor relative to others at that time.

I think in the same way, you guys are still "poor", when compared to rich English in London and surrounds.
