One of my mother's ancestors, the youngest daughter of a local "potentate" (in the early 19th century), was married and widowed three times. Every time she got married she married a younger man than the previous one (she was obviously getting older). My mother's ancestor was her second husband. She had children with two of them, apart from my ancestor I don't remember which of the other two.
She was born in this "manor house", which later passed into different hands.
