Default Are Andaman Islanders and Negritos Negroid or Australoid?

If you had to choose either Negroid or Australoid, which would it be?

What did classic anthropologists classify them as?

I think they’re geographically closer to Australoids, but they seem to phenotypically resemble negroids more than australoids, if only because of how neotenized they look.
They seem to look like Asians with dark skin and frizzy hair.
Do they resemble any Africans apart from their skin and hair?

I think their genetics is said to resemble that of their neighbouring populations, so is not reliable to determine their origins.
    Anyone can elaborate?

Surely they’re all still negroes though?

Not negroid at all. I think they are not particularly related to Australoids either, but probably closer to them than to any other "race". But i am not sure, hopefully someone with more knowledge can clear it up.
Negrito look fairly unique but andamanese look like neotenized Nilotids IMO but look nothing like WEST africans to me. Not sure if there is connection between andamanese and east africans, than there is to west africans for example, i dont know

Your hunch was close to right.Negritos are closest to Australoids but still their own population.Australoids and Negritos are both remnants of the original Asiatic populations in the South before West and East Eurasian settlements.

i meant andamanese dont look like west africans, they actually resemble east africans like nilotids much more.
But do, lets say andamanesse and negritos have more distance to each other and australoids than for example native americans do to east asians? Because natives are undoubtly recognized as Mongoloids while in the case of Australoids everything seems more ambigious.

Closest people both genetically and even geographically to Andamanese would maybe be Bougainvillean people in Solomons and Papua New Guinea. They phenotypes are also more similar than those Africans you posted.

The time of divergence in Australoids and Negritos is more than Amerindians and East Asians.

Their body proportions are actually much more similar to those of south east Asians, look at the shape of their legs for instance, they are less straight than the typically long thin limbs of east Africans.

They aren't. Bougainville women look very archaic:

Looks wise, Andaman Islanders are textbook Negritos, resembling Aeta of Phillippines
