In the event of an EU collapse, then absolutely. Such an entity would definitely be in our geopolitical interests. I think that Intermarium is impossible without the support of a major power. America would have to play a role in supporting such a bloc for it to be possible, because Russia would never assent to, let alone facilitate, such an arrangement. However, in the event that the EU does not collapse, I'm not sure it's in our interests, even if the EU is presently very flawed.

if EU falls then Europe can go to...

smaller regional groupings based on similar politics, culture, language,etc. (Something like Visegrad+Austria-Hungarian Empire2.0)

if EU stays ...

then the Central European Initiative (or similar) confederacy can leave and create their own "Third Europe".
