Is Cerbus (The Deer)
two very ancient carnival masks from the town of Sinnai, they represent the ritual of the hunt to the deer,
all the costumes are done with the fur of the Sardinian Deer (Cervus elaphus corsicanus), a subspecies of the European deer endemic of Corsica and Sardinia.

a video where are shown almost all the traditional sardinian masks,
they are ancient masks of pagan origin survived to the imposition of christianity in the early middle age, some of them have even a pre-roman origin.
