'British humour' is not monolithic. On The Buses was always more popular in Britain than something like Monty Python's Flying Circus (I love On The Buses).

Having been to Canada 3 times I'd say Canadians. More homogeneously either British Isles or French. There's larger numbers of Italian/Greek/Portuguese/Jewish/Balkan Americans. Especially in the Northeast

You have forgotten the Italians and White Hispanics, they are major groups in a few places too.
